TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE TRUFFLE SELECTION PORTAL“
1. Nature and function of the Portal
“Truffle Selection” is a digital platform managed by the company Sette 2 S.r.l.s., with registered office in Serra San Quirico (AN), Via Rotoscio no. 37, VAT no. 02869890422, which merely offers a showcase space to third-party sellers (hereinafter, “Truffle Hunters”), as well as the promotion of products and/or services related to the truffle sector, provided by third-party producers or operators (hereinafter, “Operators”), who independently publish their offers of truffles and/or related products.
The Portal does not act as an intermediary, does not directly promote individual listings, does not participate in negotiations, and does not acquire any commercial responsibility for the relationship between seller and buyer.
2. Exclusion of Liability
The Portal:
- makes no sales and issues no invoices;
- does not receive or handle payments;
- does not ship products, nor does it guarantee their availability or quality.
All information in the advertisements is provided directly by the participating seller, who assumes full responsibility for it.

The Portal does not guarantee:
- the truthfulness, completeness or up-to-dateness of the offers;
- the origin, quality, availability or commercial/fiscal/sanitary regularity of the products offered;
- the proper execution of the negotiation or contract of sale.
3. Contact mode
Any enquiries, negotiations or complaints should be addressed directly to the seller named in the relevant advertisement via the
contact details provided by it.
The Portal is not liable for any lack of feedback or inefficiency on the part of participating Operators.
4. Portal Reports and Interventions
Users can report any illegal, misleading content or misconduct by sellers using the “Report Abuse” function.
In the event of justified complaints, the Manager reserves the right to
- monitor published content;
- suspend or deactivate the account of the seller responsible for violations;
- where appropriate, inform the competent authorities, if there is a civil or criminal offence.
5. Limitations of Liability
The purchasing user declares that he/she is aware that the use of the Portal takes place under his/her sole responsibility. In particular, the Portal shall not be liable in any way:
- non-delivery or delay in shipment of products;
- the non-conformity or unsatisfactory quality of the product received;
- of any tax, commercial or sanitary irregularities on the part of the sellers;
- direct or indirect damage (including economic loss, damage to image or loss of earnings) resulting from
from the use of the Portal or from relations entered into with sellers.
6. Nature of the contractual relationship
The contract of sale is concluded directly between the seller and the buyer. The Portal does not assume the role of
agent, representative or dealer.
Any purchase is made on the user's own initiative and at the user's own risk.
7. Content published by operators
The contents published in the personal showcase (texts, images, descriptions) are entered directly by the sellers, who guarantee their lawfulness and compliance with the regulations in force, including those relating to the law of the United Nations:
- food labelling and traceability (EU Reg. 1169/2011);
- advertising and commercial practices (Legislative Decree 206/2005);
- regulation of designations (e.g. PDO, PGI, organic).
The Portal does not exercise prior control over published content, except for the right to remove those
manifestly unlawful or reported by third parties.
8. Amendments to the Terms of Use
The Portal reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, subject to prior publication on the site. Continued use of the Portal by the user implies automatic acceptance of any changes.
