My experience stems from a deep passion for the mountains and for collecting wild mushrooms. This interest, initially an amateur one, evolved into a real profession thanks to meeting Billy, my first truffle dog. With him, a journey of discovery and study began, which allowed me to delve into every aspect related to the search for and collection of truffles, a hypogean fungus that is as fascinating as it is precious.
Today I work as a quarryman and specialised agronomist, enhancing the still little-known potential of Sicily, a land surprisingly rich in native truffles. My work combines knowledge of the territory, technical expertise and deep respect for nature, with the aim of promoting a unique resource through a sustainable and conscious approach.
